More Details on Our Top Picks
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little) (Amazon Exclusive)
This holiday 4-pack stands out for offering a variety of characters that appeal to both collectors and gift-givers. The plush toys are made with ultrasoft, high-quality fabric, making them perfect for cuddling during the festive season. Compared with the Micromallows advent calendars, this set provides larger, more huggable plushes that serve as both decor and comfort. The main tradeoff is that it’s limited to fans of the Squishmallows brand, and the size details aren’t specified, which might affect those seeking smaller or more display-oriented plushes. Overall, this set makes the most sense for families or collectors wanting a festive bundle of characters to enjoy or gift during the holidays.
Pros:- Soft, ultrasoft high-quality material for cuddling
- Includes four unique, festive characters
- Great for holiday gifting and collection
Cons:- Limited appeal outside dedicated fans of Squishmallows
- Lack of specific size information may cause uncertainty
Best for: Collectors and fans looking for a high-quality, themed holiday plush set to gift or display.
Not ideal for: People seeking small, easily portable plush toys or non-fans of Squishmallows, since it’s targeted at dedicated fans.
- Includes:4 Squishmallows plush toys
- Characters:Maritza the Cactus, Stevon the Golden Retriever, Clayton the Blue Cow, Tinsley the Peppermint Latte
- Material:Ultrasoft, high-quality fabric
- Exclusive:Amazon Exclusive
Our verdict“This set is ideal for collectors or gift-givers who want a plush bundle that combines variety and quality for the holidays.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little) (Amazon Exclusive)
Compared with the previous set, this 4-pack emphasizes holiday-themed characters like Marilyn the Green Pickle Ornament and Luna the Penguin, appealing to fans who want a festive display. The ultrasoft plush material ensures comfort, but the smaller size might not satisfy those seeking larger, more huggable plushes. Its limited scope to holiday characters makes it less versatile for year-round use, unlike the more general original sets. The main tradeoff is that the packaging and character selection are holiday-specific, which could limit long-term display options. This pick makes the most sense for holiday collectors or those who want a cheerful, themed plush set for seasonal gifting.
Pros:- Festive holiday-themed characters
- Soft, ultrasoft plush material
- Includes four uniquely themed plush toys
Cons:- Limited to holiday collection, not suitable year-round
- Small size may not appeal to all ages
Best for: Holiday enthusiasts who want a festive, plush collection for seasonal décor or gifts.
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking plush toys suitable for year-round use or larger cuddly companions.
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Includes:4 Squishmallows
- Characters:Ingred, Omar, Marilyn, Luna
Our verdict“Ideal for seasonal décor and gifting, especially for those who love holiday-themed plushies.”
Squishmallows Original 24-Day Micromallows Holiday Plush Advent Calendar
This advent calendar offers a different experience compared to the plush sets, featuring 24 tiny 2.5-inch Micromallows that create a daily surprise during the holiday season. Unlike the larger plush options like the 4-packs, the small size makes these ideal for stacking, collecting, or gifting in small portions, but may fall short for those wanting larger, cuddly plushes. The calendar is perfect for fans who enjoy a daily reveal and want a compact way to celebrate the countdown. Its main drawback is that the small size could limit appeal for children who prefer larger plush toys or for those seeking plushes for hugs rather than display. This product excels for holiday countdowns and small gift exchanges.
Pros:- Includes 24 holiday-themed Micromallows
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
- Perfect for Christmas countdown and gifting
Cons:- Small size may not appeal to everyone
- Limited to holiday characters only
- Small parts might require careful handling
Best for: Children and collectors who enjoy daily surprises and holiday countdown traditions.
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking large plush toys for hugging or long-term display, as these are tiny and primarily collectible.
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:24 Micromallows plush toys
- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
Our verdict“Great for holiday countdowns and small gift exchanges, especially for those who enjoy daily surprises.”
Squishmallows Original Harvest 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little) – Amazon Exclusive
This harvest-themed 4-pack offers a cozy alternative to the typical holiday sets, featuring characters like Ulana the Turkey and Alberta the Maple Latte. Compared with the holiday 4-pack, this set emphasizes autumnal and harvest vibes, making it suitable for fall decor or Thanksgiving celebrations. The plush material is ultrasoft, but the lack of specific size details makes it harder to gauge the plush’s actual hugability or display suitability. The main tradeoff is that it’s less versatile outside of the harvest season, limiting year-round appeal if you’re not a fan of seasonal themes. It’s best suited for fans who want a dedicated fall or harvest collection to celebrate the season in plush form.
Pros:- Soft, high-quality plush material
- Includes four distinct harvest characters
- Official Jazwares product with bios for each character
Cons:- No specific size info provided
- Limited appeal outside of fall or harvest themes
Best for: Fall and harvest enthusiasts wanting a plush set to match seasonal décor or Thanksgiving traditions.
Not ideal for: Those seeking plush toys for year-round use or larger, more cuddly plushes for hugging.
- Includes:4 Squishmallows
- Material:Ultrasoft, high-quality
- Characters:Ulana the Turkey, River the Blue Beaver, Rhett the French Bulldog, Alberta the Maple Latte
- Exclusive:Amazon Exclusive
Our verdict“Perfect for fans who want a seasonal harvest plush collection to celebrate autumn festivities.”
Squishmallows Original 24-Day Micromallows Holiday Advent Calendar
This advent calendar features 24 tiny 2.5-inch Micromallows, similar to the larger holiday Micromallows but in miniature form. It offers a compact, collectible approach to the Christmas countdown, making it different from the larger plush sets like the 4-pack. The small size is ideal for stacking or gifting in small portions but may disappoint those wanting plush toys for hugs or display. The inclusion of holiday favorites like Nick Santa Claus and Manny Snowman makes it a festive treat, but the limited size and holiday-only characters mean it’s less versatile for year-round use. This product excels as a holiday tradition or a collectible gift for dedicated fans of Micromallows.
Pros:- Includes 24 holiday-themed Micromallows
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
- Great for Christmas countdown and gifting
Cons:- Small size may not appeal to all
- Limited to holiday characters
- Small parts require careful handling
Best for: Holiday collectors and families seeking a fun, small-scale Christmas countdown experience.
Not ideal for: People wanting large, cuddly plush toys or those outside the holiday season looking for year-round plushes.
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:24 Micromallows plush toys
- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
Our verdict“Ideal for holiday countdown fun and small collectible gifting, especially for Micromallows fans.”
Squishmallows 8in Fleur the Yule Log Plush
This 8-inch Fleur the Yule Log Squishmallow stands out for its plush softness and official branding, making it an ideal choice for collectors and kids who want a charming holiday companion. Compared with larger options like Nick the Santa Claus, Fleur’s smaller size makes it more portable and easier to store, though this also means it offers less support for more active play or hugging. Its ultrasoft material ensures a cuddly experience, but some children might find it too delicate for rougher handling. This plush suits those valuing quality and collectibility over size or durability. The limited size options mean it’s less versatile for children looking for a more substantial plush for play. If you want a small, high-quality holiday plush to add to your collection, Fleur is a sweet choice.
Pros:- Soft, ultrasoft plush material for a cozy feel
- Official Squishmallows character with a unique name and bio
- Compact size ideal for small hands and easy storage
Cons:- Limited size options restrict versatility
- May be too soft for children needing more structure or support
Best for: Collectors or kids seeking a small, soft holiday plush for cuddling or display
Not ideal for: Parents shopping for a durable, larger plush for active play or rough handling
- Size:8 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Official Product:Yes
Our verdict“This plush is perfect for collectors or young children who want a soft, collectible holiday character in a manageable size.”
Squishmallows Falala the Pink Holiday Deer – 5 Inch Plush Toy
Falala the Pink Holiday Deer offers a cute, huggable size perfect for small hands and holiday display. Its 5-inch stature makes it ideal for kids who want a plush they can carry everywhere, but it lacks extra features or interactive elements seen in larger or more detailed plushes like Nick the Santa. Compared to Fleur, Falala’s tiny form emphasizes portability over display presence, which could be a drawback for collectors seeking more substantial pieces. Its soft, plush fabric ensures comfort, but the limited size reduces its appeal for active play or as a standalone gift. This pick makes the most sense for those looking for a sweet, holiday-themed plush to tuck into stockings or use as a collectible.
Pros:- Cuddly and huggable design in a compact size
- Perfect for holiday collections or as a stocking stuffer
- Soft plush material with festive appeal
Cons:- Limited size restricts use for active play
- No additional features or accessories included
Best for: Parents or collectors looking for a small, adorable holiday plush for gifting or display
Not ideal for: Children wanting a larger plush for hugging or active play
- Size:5 inches
- Material:Soft plush
Our verdict“Falala is ideal for those wanting a tiny, festive plush for gifting or holiday decor, but less suited for rough play or as a main plush for kids.”
Squishmallows 14in Nick the Santa Claus Plush
Nick the Santa Claus in a cheerful Hawaiian shirt offers a larger, more substantial plush compared to smaller options like Falala or Fleur. Its 14-inch size makes it perfect for cuddling, display, or holiday decorating, and the high-quality, ultrasoft material ensures comfort. This plush appeals to those who want a recognizable, festive character that can serve as a holiday centerpiece, unlike smaller plushes which are more suited to collections or stocking stuffers. However, its size might be too bulky for younger children who prefer smaller, easier-to-carry plushes. While it is an official Squishmallows product, its price point and limited versatility mean it’s best for dedicated collectors or kids who love Santa themes.
Pros:- Large 14-inch size for cuddling and display
- High-quality, ultrasoft material for comfort
- Official Squishmallows collectible with a festive character
Cons:- Size may be overwhelming for very young children
- Limited to holiday use, not for year-round decor
Best for: Families or collectors seeking a sizable, festive plush to celebrate the season
Not ideal for: Parents looking for a small, durable plush for active children or travel
- Size:14 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Character:Nick the Santa Claus
- Official Product:Yes
Our verdict“This plush makes the most sense for those wanting a sizable, cheerful Santa to add to holiday decor or a collection, rather than a small travel companion.”
Squishmallows Micromallows Holiday Wreath 4-Pack
This 4-pack of Micromallows Holiday Wreaths offers four tiny, 2.5-inch plush characters perfect for holiday decorating, gifting, or adding to a collection. Comparing to larger plushes like Nick or Fleur, these small ornaments excel in versatility and portability, fitting easily onto trees, shelves, or stockings. Their official Squishmallows status guarantees quality, but their tiny size limits their appeal to those seeking substantial plush toys for cuddling or active play. The seasonal theme makes them less useful outside of the holidays, which could be a drawback for collectors wanting year-round display pieces. This set is ideal for holiday decorating or small gift-giving, especially for those who prefer miniature collectibles.
Pros:- Cute, holiday-themed characters in a tiny size
- Perfect for decorating or gifting during the festive season
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to holiday use, not suitable year-round
- Small size may not appeal to all collectors or children
Best for: Holiday decorators or collectors wanting festive, small plush accents
Not ideal for: Children seeking larger plush toys for cuddling or active play
- Size:2.5 inches
- Included Components:4 Micromallows
- Set Name:Holiday Wreath
Our verdict“This set is a charming choice for holiday decor or small gifts, but less suited for those wanting larger, cuddly plushes.”
Squishmallows Micromallows 24-Day Holiday Advent Calendar
This advent calendar packs a delightful holiday punch with 24 tiny 2.5-inch Squishmallows, each representing iconic characters like Benny the Bigfoot or Cam the Cat. Compared to larger plush like Nick or Fleur, this set emphasizes the fun of holiday anticipation through daily surprises, making it ideal for fans and collectors who enjoy a themed countdown. Its official licensing guarantees quality, but the small size means it’s not suitable for children seeking plush toys for cuddling or active play. The compact plushes serve more as festive decorations or collectibles, with their holiday-specific nature limiting use beyond the season. Overall, this calendar makes a charming, compact holiday tradition for dedicated fans.
Pros:- Includes 24 tiny collectible plush characters
- Great for holiday countdowns and festive decor
- Official licensed Squishmallows product ensures quality
Cons:- Small size limits use for active play
- Only relevant during the holiday season
Best for: Families or collectors looking to enjoy a daily holiday surprise with small plush characters
Not ideal for: Children wanting larger plush toys for cuddling or year-round display
- Size:2.5 inches
- Number of Packs:1
- Set Name:24-Day Micromallows Holiday Plush Advent Calendar
Our verdict“This advent calendar offers a fun, festive way to count down with tiny plush characters, ideal for holiday enthusiasts but not for active play or year-round use.”

Factors to Consider When Choosing Squishmallows Holiday List
Choosing the right Squishmallows holiday plush depends on your specific needs, whether it’s for gifting, decoration, or collection. Several factors influence the best choice for you, and understanding these can help avoid common pitfalls like overpaying for size or missing out on thematic relevance. Here are key considerations to guide your selection:Size and Price
Size impacts both the price and how the plush fits into your holiday decor or gift package. Smaller micromallows are typically more affordable and perfect for stocking stuffers, while larger plushes like the 14-inch Santa offer more display presence. Consider your budget and intended use—larger plushes cost more but can become statement pieces, whereas smaller ones are versatile and easier to gift in multiples.
Theme and Collectibility
Many holiday Squishmallows are designed around specific themes like Santa, deer, or wreaths, which can enhance holiday decor or make themed gifts. If collecting is your goal, look for limited editions or characters that match your collection style. Be cautious of seasonal designs that may not be usable beyond the holidays, which could impact their long-term value.
Material and Durability
Quality plush material and stitching are essential for plush toys expected to last multiple holiday seasons. Cheaper options may shed or lose shape quickly, especially after washing or frequent handling. Investing in well-made plushes ensures they stay plush and vibrant, making them better keepsakes or gifts.
Interactive and Special Features
Advent calendars or plush sets with multiple characters add an interactive layer to holiday gifting and can extend the festive fun. However, these often come at a higher price point and require more storage or display space. Decide if the interactive element matches your holiday traditions or recipient preferences.
Price vs. Value
While budget-friendly options are attractive, they may sacrifice plush quality or thematic depth. Conversely, premium plushes usually deliver superior softness, detail, and longevity but cost more. Weigh your priorities—whether it’s a one-time gift or a collectible investment—before choosing a higher or lower-priced item.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Squishmallows suitable for young children during the holidays?
Yes, Squishmallows are generally soft, plush, and safe for children, making them a popular holiday gift. However, it’s important to check the age recommendations, especially for smaller sizes or detailed features that might pose a choking risk for very young kids. Always select plushes that meet safety standards and are appropriate for the child’s age.
Do holiday-themed Squishmallows hold their value over time?
Holiday-themed Squishmallows can retain or even increase in value if they are limited editions or part of a collectible series. Their appeal depends on rarity, condition, and demand within the collector community. Proper storage and handling are key to maintaining their worth, especially for larger or more detailed plushes.
What size Squishmallows should I choose for a gift exchange?
For gift exchanges, smaller sizes like 5-8 inches are often ideal because they are easy to wrap and fit into stockings or gift bags. Larger plushes, such as 14-inch characters, make more impactful presents but may require more space and higher budgets. Consider the recipient’s age and your budget when selecting size.
Are advent calendars worth the extra cost?
Advent calendars add an interactive element that can make holiday mornings more special, especially for children. They often include small plush characters or themed items, which can be collectible. However, they tend to be pricier and require storage space, so weigh whether the festive experience outweighs the additional expense for your needs.
Should I prioritize plush quality over theme for holiday Squishmallows?
Both factors are important depending on your goal. If you’re collecting or want plushes to last multiple seasons, focus on quality materials and stitching. If the main goal is festive decor or a themed gift, then matching the holiday motif may take precedence. Balancing both aspects ensures you get a plush that is both beautiful and durable.
Conclusion
For those seeking the best overall holiday Squishmallow, the Official Holiday 4-Pack offers a versatile collection of characters at a great price. Value shoppers should consider the Micromallows Advent Calendar for festive fun without breaking the bank. Premium buyers will find the larger, detailed plushes like the Nick the Santa Claus ideal for long-term collectibles. Beginners or casual gift-givers might prefer smaller, themed plushes for easy gifting, such as the Falala the Pink Holiday Deer. For those wanting a specific decoration or character, themed options like the Holiday Wreath or Yule Log plushes are perfect. Picking the right Squishmallow depends on your priorities—whether it’s budget, collection, or holiday cheer.
